A legend in it’s day, still a great choice for running additional channels on ADAT, especially if you need mic preamps on those channels. These mic preamps still sound really good and it’s an absolute steal to get 4 of them for the price these go for now (nevermind more 4 line inputs and 8 outs, headphone amps, etc etc). The downside is you can only set these up by firewire and need a Thunderbolt adapter cable or an older Mac Wirth a firewire port, but once you set up the routing to your needs you can control the mic gains from the front panel, and run them purely as an ADAT unit.
