Amazing sounding microphone with parallel and blendable Tube and FET transistor signal paths, as well as variable polar pattern. All controllable from the power supply (with a nice long cable to the mic itself.). The FET circuit on this one sounds clean and precise, and fading towards the tube adds a really nice warm blanket around the sound without losing any clarity.

This early revision of the 940 has been totally cleaned, re-capped, and re-tubed here in the shop and is ready to be your studio’s flagship mic.
